System of Social Guardianship of School-Age Children in the Republic of Poland with the European Experience as Backdrop

Abstract
The article deals with the experience of the Republic of Poland regarding social guardianship of school-age children in the context of the European experience. Target characteristics of social guardianship of children of school age in the system of the Polish education against the background of the European experience are presented, namely opposition to the social exclusion of children and youth, ensuring the unity of educational, social, and professional activities in the system of education, and active integration into the local environment, including the system of education.
