Abstract
This work shows an attempt to research an influence that Information Technologies and Intellectual Capital together have on competitiveness. The main thesis is that IT is not as strong in building competitive advantages, as when used together with IC. In this article attempts have been made to show complementarities of Information Technologies and Intellectual Capital. Carrying on this issue the author shows some indexes the most competitive countries and was looking for correlation between them and expenditure on the IT.
