ТЕНДЕНЦИИ КЛАССИЦИЗМА В ГРАДОСТРОИТЕЛЬСТВЕ СЕВЕРНОГО ПРИАЗОВЬЯ КОНЦА XVII – НАЧАЛА XIX ВЕКОВ (НА ПРИМЕРЕ ПЛАНОВ ГОРОДОВ ТАГАНРОГА И МАРИУПОЛЯ)

Abstract
The article considers the plans of the cities of the Northern Azov Sea, whose planning structures, for historical and political reasons, are identical in their basis. In the process of research, a system-structural analysis is applied. The facts of the emergence and spread in the territory of present-day Ukraine and Russia of the classicism style in the field of town-planning art are considered. As a result of the comparative analysis it was shown that the identity of the initial regular schemes of urban plans was a consequence of the influence of modern Western European urban planning theories. The further change in the schemes of urban planning structures in the context of historical situations is seen as a derivative of the shift of political and socio-economic functions that underlie the formation of the future city. According to the author, the historical plans of cities deserve to be included in the register of historical monuments of town-planning art of national importance.
