Abstract
Lucrarea cu titlul de mai sus abordează unul dintre cele mai importante sectoare ale lexicologiei, cu implicații majore în ceea ce privește organizarea cuvintelor limbii în câmpuri semantice. Este vorba despre terminologia unui domeniu de activitate bine individualizat, distinct și definit ca având evidente determinări asupra existenței umane în ansamblu – meteorologia. Ineditul demersului constă, întâi de toate, în aceea că autorii întreprind o competentă analiză contrastivă pe două niveluri (asupra căreia atrage atenția însuși titlul volumului), obiectul căreia îl constituie limbajul științific și cel popular.
