THE ACTUAL ASPECTS OF THE RESTRUCTURING OF THE SPIRIT INDUSTRY IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article updates the problematic issues on the way to the restructuring of the spirit industry in Ukraine, which is one of the main components of the agroindustrial complex processing industry. The issue of increasing the efficiency of the operation of enterprises in this sector of industry, as well as ensuring its development, is of paramount importance. The main reasons for the decline of the domestic spirit industry are total shadowing and the price is not the competitiveness of domestic alcohol in export markets. During 2013-2016, Ukraine did not export spirit, while for decades earlier exports represented 24% of total production. Against the background of outdated production assets and high energy intensity of production, the cost of domestic spirit is 20% -30% higher than in EU countries. The limitation of the internal market of food spirit puts forward the task of finding new alternatives for the use of ethyl spirit, the active position of each producer in improving the quality of management and marketing, the development of the raw material base of the spirit industry, etc. The outline of such criteria involves focusing particular attention on the problems of the restructuring of the spirit industry.
