The analysis of world commodity market prices influence on economic growth in Ukraine

Abstract
Paper deals with empirical testing of world commodity index in general and metal in particular impact on Ukraine's real GDP growth, trade balance and current account balance. The impact of world metal prices index on real GDP growth in Ukraine is of great importance, has short-term effect and characterizes by fast response of the domestic economy. However, the response of real GDP growth in Ukraine and the current account balance on world commodity index has long-term effect. Also it is proved the dependence of the hryvna to US dollar from the world metal index.
