THE APPLICATION OF HEURISTIC METHODS WHILE TEACHING PRIMARY SCHOOLCHILDREN

Abstract

The article justifies theoretically the use of heuristic methods while teaching primary schoolchildren. The features of the application of heuristic methods in the process of future teachers’ training to develop young learners’ creative abilities. We consider the problem of heuristic methods of teaching primary schoolchildren as the conditions of their creative self-realization. One of the most effective ways to solve this problem is to use heuristic teaching methods in the educational process of primary school which provide forming the cognitive, creative and organizational skills of primary schoolchildren. The use of heuristic teaching methods enables to personalize the learning process, to develop primary schoolchildren’s creative abilities to make reflection, self-esteem, self-control and self-organization, self-actualization as constituents for primary schoolchildren’s creative self-organization. The theoretical background and elements of the heuristic learning was reflected in the works by V. Andrieiev, N. Bibik, M Lazariev, T. Lysianska, V. Lozova, A. Khutorskyi. The purpose of the article is to prove theoretically the efficiency of heuristic methods in the future primary school teachers’ training. Heuristic methods of learning is essential to improve the efficiency of the educational process in primary school as they represent a wide range of organization forms of young learners’ educational and creative activities. The systematic use of heuristic methods in the future primary school teachers’ training stimulates the development of intuitive thinking, creative imagination of the students, the ability to organize search of creative problem solving. In the process of students’ heuristic activity, the ability to apply heuristics in the learning process of young learners is formed. The generated heuristic skills model the creative subjects’ interaction in educational process in the future professional activity.
