THE AUTHOR’S COMMUNICATIVE STRATEGIES FOR COMMUNICATING WITH THE READER IN CONTEMPORARY PROSE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the communicative interaction between the author and the reader as an expression of the strategies of speech behavior in the artistic discourse. The concept of communicative strategies and tactics is described, as well as the specifics of the communicative role of the author, implementing the text-discursive category of addressability, are outlined. The basic communicative strategies of communication with the addressee-reader, determined by the author’s intention and are realized on the structural-compositional and linguistic-pragmatic levels are singled out. The linguistic and pragmatic potential of artistic discourse based on the analysis of modern Ukrainian prose is substantiated.
