THE BASIC PROBLEMS OF ADAPTATION OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF UKRAINE TO EUROPEAN STANDARDS

Abstract
The article analyzes the legal framework for the activities of the Procure of Ukraine. Elements of the system investigated the functions of the Procure of Ukraine. In article investigated the legal basis of the organization and activities of the Procure of Ukraine. Describe the basic powers of the Procure of Ukraine. The paper considers the system of general principles of organization of the activities of the Procure of Ukraine. In article highlighted the role of the Prosecutor as a supervisory body. In article substantiated of the basic problems of adaptation functions of the Procure of Ukraine to European standards. In article identified a number of significant problems regarding the powers of prosecutors, in particular regarding the scope of competencies and the importance of the activity of the Procure, in particular on preventing crime in the system of law enforcement.
