THE CATEGORY “AN ADULT MAN” AND ITS SPECIAL CHARACTERISTICS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN QUESTIONNAIRE OF QUALIFICATION OF PEDAGOGICAL EMPLOYEES

Abstract
In the article the basic concept, necessary for the implementation of scientific research in the field of andragogy – the category “adult person”, is comprehensively analyzed. The definitions given by Western, Russian and Ukrainian researchers are consistently given. Various approaches to the chronological determina- tion of the boundaries of adulthood are being studied. At the same time, the author agrees that in this case it is impossible to rely solely on age limitations - social roles play a much greater role, which the person begins to play, and which become an indicator of the transition to adulthood. Separately, the specific features of an adult are analyzed, which affect his involvement in the learning process (experience and motivation, limited time and etc.). Particular attention is paid to a separate category of adults - pedagogical workers, who are involved in the educational process in the form of advanced training.
