THE COMPARISON OF THE LEVELS OF DEVELOPMENT OF CONFLICTOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF UNIVERSITY TEACHERS IN UKRAINE AND HUNGARY

Abstract
Methodology of the research. The subjects of this research are a total of 216 teachers of social sciences and humanities from private and state universities of Ukraine and Hungary. To assess the level of development of the cognitive component of conflictological competence participants used the method of «unfinished sentences»: «Conflict – is ...». The level of development of the emotional component was estimated by a valuation technique of psychological atmosphere in the team and the evaluation of reactive and personal anxiety developed by Spielberger. The behavioral component of conflict competence was measured with the help of Assinger Test (assessment of aggression in relationships) and Thomas-Kilmann model (styles of human behavior in conflict situations). Results. The medium degree of development of cognitive, emotional and behavioral components of conflictological competence prevails among university teachers in Ukraine and Hungary. Practical significance. The obtained results can be used by psychologists and administration of higher educational institutions to create and make corrections in conflictological competence of teachers.
