THE COMPETITIONAL STRESS AND THE ANXIETY

Abstract
The incontestable base of sport is competition, contest. The whole social and pedagogic activity for the sport’s sake has as main objective the moment of “efficiency confirmation” in competition. We all know that in most of the cases the contest has the gift to awaken the ambition of the competitors. The phenomenon is of psycho-social nature and bears the hall-mark of the relationships between people.
