THE CONCEPT OF LEGAL STATUS OF THE NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The article focuses on the fact that, despite the fact that the concept of “status” is one of the fundamental in legal science, nevertheless the question of the concept of legal status of the National Bank of Ukraine is one of the most controversial. It is emphasized that the development of constitutionalism deepened the discussion begun by domestic and foreign scholars earlier on the concept of the legal status of the central bank of the country. The points of view of scientists on this issue are analyzed. The concept of legal status of the National Bank of Ukraine is specified.
