The concept of the object of crime and the problem of law enforcement

Abstract
The article analyzes problems of administration of national law from the perspective of contemporary ap- proaches to identification of the target of crime. The author substantiates inadequacy of interpretation of the target of criminal law protection as a polytypic phenom- enon. The author makes additional arguments for the “target – social relations” concept, within the framework of which this element of crime preserves its critical sig- nificance.
