The peculiarities of the implementation of international law rules on international crimes.

Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of the implementation of the norms of international law concerning international crimes into the national legal system. In particular, the types of states are analyzed depending on the way of implementation of the norms of international law at the national level. It is stated that regardless of which group the state belongs to, it must objectively comply with the norms of international law. Particular consideration is given to the practical issues of implementation of international legal norms concerning international crimes in the national criminal law of Ukraine. The draft law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts Concerning the Harmonization of Criminal Legislation with International Law”, prepared by the Government and promulgated for public discussion, was analyzed. A number of technical and legal shortcomings were found, which, according to the author, will not allow to achieve the goals defined in the explanatory notes to this project.
