THE CONCEPTUAL APPROACH TO THE CREATION OF THE SURFACE-MODIFIED LAYERS AND PROTECTIVE COATINGS OF THE INCREASED WEAR RESISTANCE
Journal Title: Проблеми тертя та зношування - Year 2017, Vol 74, Issue
Abstract
Based on the energy model of the tribosystem and the ideas about the structure- rheological mechanisms of energy dissipation and the reduction of the tension of the surface layers in a dynamically loaded frictional contact there have been formulated a number of tribology principles of the increased durability of elements of tribosystems in small cyclic relative displacements. The directions of practical implementation of the proposed principles in the development of surface-modified layers and protective coatings were considered as well.
