DEFORMATION RELIEF AS AN INDICATOR OF THE TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATIONS INFLUENCE ON THE FATIGUE DAMAGE ACCUMULATION

Abstract

The article describes the methods and the preliminary results of the research di-rected on the investigation of temperature influence on D16AT aluminium alloy fa-tigue. The initial stage of fatigue has been studied by the analysis of the surface de-formation relief. Test temperature regime corresponds to the aircraft structure tem-perature spectrum at the airfield. The level of cyclic stresses is about to those that arise when the airplane moves on airdrome surface.
