Abstract
The article presents the scientific reception of the notion “conspiracy novel / detective story”, its genre models are defined, genetic and typological connections with other forms such as Gothic novel, crypto-historical prose, fantasy, etc. are analysed. It is proved that the conspiracy narrative, the detective plot-compositional basis, the features of postmodern poetics and aesthetics, the interactive strategy of interaction with the reader in the author – text – reader system are invariants of the formula structure of the conspiracy detective story.
