The Constitution of the Ukrainian People’s Republic of 1918 in the national constitutional process

Abstract
The article describes the results of the analysis of the provisions of the Constitution of the Ukrainian People’s Republic of 1918. It is established that it was declared: the sovereignty of the state; a wide range of civil, political, social and economic human rights; the right to national-personal autonomy; division of state power, etc. The conclusion is drawn that the Constitution of 1918 took a special place in the national constitutional process and played an important role in the formation of ukrainian constitutionalism.
