THE CONTENTS OF THE FUTURE TRANSLATORS’ PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN AUSTRIAN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract
Purpose. To investigate the contents of the future translators’ professional training in Austrian higher education institutes on the example of the university of Vienna and to make a connection between substantial details of the curriculum on which this training is carried on with its end goal. Methodology. The research uses a number of theoretical methods, including analysis, systematization and summarizing. Results. It has been established that the contents of professional training of the Vienna University is defined by the end goal which is laid in formation of professional competence of the translator. Its structural components are linguistic, intercultural, translational competence, competence in multilingual communication, research and technological, social competences, super subject competences (media competence, teamwork skills and organization, management skills). The curriculum training of bachelors and masters is studied on correspondent qualifications and it is showed real ways of realization of the target goal of the professional education. Originality. The scientific novelty of the research results presented in the article lies in the fact that for the first time it was studied the contents of curriculum of the Vienna University and is determined the extent of professional competence of future translators that is used as bases of the goal of professional training in general. It is defined the essence of linguistic consciousness and transculturalness of the future translators. Practical value. The results of the research can be used in the process of modern standards development of future translators’ training, which correlate with corrspondent European standards and to form the contents of curriculums and programs by which professional training of future translators is carried out. Conclusion. The study of the experience of educational process organization in the universities of different European countries is of a great importance on the way of reforming the system of education of Ukraine in order to get closer to modern European standards and to bring into accordance with the demand of a labor market.
