THE CURRENT BANKING SYSTEM OF UKRAINE: TRENDS AND EXPECTATIONS

Abstract
In the article, tendencies of the functioning of the banking system of Ukraine are considered; statistics and a list of banks according to the degree of reliability are given. The number of banks has decreased significantly, in general, in recent times, the dynamics of the banking system is positive. An influential factor in the banking system is the active intervention of the NBU. Among the negative ones are political and military instability, significant inflation, and general economic destabilization. Measures to improve the efficiency of the banking system and recommendations to banks are proposed.
