The design of LINC transmitter based on FPGA

Abstract
With the development of digital communication, non-constant envelope modulation techniques with high frequency efficiency, such as QAM, OFDM, are paid more attention on. However, these modulation techniques require power amplifier with high linearity .For power amplifier, it is a paradox between linearity and efficiency, one is higher, and the other one is lower.LINC transmitter, in nature, is a linear transmitter, which can employ non-linear power amplifier with higher efficiency, and can overcome the side-effect of power amplifier’s non-linearity. SCS (signal components separator) is the key of realizing LINC transmitter .This paper takes emphasis on the design and implement of SCS based on CORDIC algorithm
