The development of Stefan Baley's idea of psychological pupil's protection

Abstract
Stefan Baley's contribution to the development of psychological pupil's protection idea in Polish school during the interwar period is presented in the article. The scientist defined the concept of psychological pupil's protection; justified the need of a special psychological protection in addition to pedagogical; conducted experimental researches that proved the relevance of psychological pupil`s protection; proposed the most suitable programme for the school psychologist.
