The Development of the Atomic Theory of the Formation of a New Phase in Adsorbirivannyh Layers in an External Electric Field
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2015, Vol 16, Issue 3
Abstract
The article deals with the nucleation rate in the development of the atomic theory. The expression for the calculation of heterogeneous nucleation rate in adsorbed layers in an external electric field, which allows for the stability criterion nucleus of a new phase. For example, the values of nickel electrocrystallisation nucleation rate in the development of the atomic theory and the classical theory of nucleation. A comparison with the experimental values. It is shown that at high overvoltage at the cathode developed atomic theory gives values of the nucleation rate closer to the experimental.

Within the methods of electron density functional and ab initio pseudopotential, it were obtained the spatial distributions of density of valence and the total energy for migration of water (or methanol) inside carbon na...
Hydrothermal Synthesis of Nanodispersed Titanium Dioxide
The paper is an overview of published data within the perspective method of hydrothermal synthesis of nanodispersed titanium dioxide. Organizing data allowed to capture the general trends of the relationships between the...
The Influence of Air Exposition of the Zr-Mn-Cr-Ni-Al Alloy on Cycle Life
It was found by scanning electron microscopy method that the ZrMn0.5Ni1.2Cr0.18А0.1 alloy has a dendritic structure, and the shooting of a typical section of the surface of the metalographic sample in characteristic radi...
Theoretical and Experimental Investigations of Laser Annealing Non-Stoichiometric SiOx Films
In this work, spreading of temperature profiles and influence of a temperature on forming silicon nanoparticles in non-stoichiometric SiOx films after laser annealing is investigated. Using parabolic thermal conductivity...
