Abstract
Analyzed the state of the equity market of Ukraine. Described the reasons for the low participation of the population in investment processes. The article considers problems of functioning of joint investment institutions in Ukraine. Outlines main directions of the acceleration of the process of transformation of savings into investments through the equity market.
