The Diagnosis of the Cutting Tool Edge Break and the Prognosis of Cutting
Journal Title: RECENT - Year 2013, Vol 14, Issue 38
Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to present a modality of prognosis of the cutting process and methods of diagnosis of the break of the cutting tool edge. The prognosis of the cutting process was done using the cutting thermocurrent, and the diagnosis of the catastrophic wear was done using both the measuring of the cutting thermocurrent and the measuring of the vibrations. In the case of the diagnosis of the catastrophic wear it was done the comparison between the two methods.

Comparison between the Performances of Platinum and Carbon Paste Electrodes for Voltammetric Vitamin C Determination
Voltammetric and amperometric methods allow fast, sensitive and selective ascorbic acid determination, requiring little or no sample preparation. Voltammetry at various electrodes was used to assess the ascorbic acid con...
A Review of Unconventional Procedures for Manufacturing Tool Electrodes Used in EDM
Electrical discharge machining (EDM) is an unconventional process for machining electrically conductive materials that are difficult to process by other known means. EDM requires that the tool, at least in the die sinkin...
Mathematical Modelling and Numerical Simulation of Coulomb Friction
This article proposes the dry friction simulation diagram which highlights the mechanical hysteresis. Two dry friction distinct relations, one non-linear relation and one portion linearized relation are examined and nume...
Research of Orthopaedic Ceramic Prostheses Personalized
The pre-sintering method can offer a suitable solution for manufacturing of orthopaedic prostheses that are usually difficult to do. This paper presents the results of some experiments on manufacturing of orthopaedic pro...
