THE DIATHERMIC MODEL OF A POROUS BEARING WITH ADDITIONAL OIL SUPPLY

Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2011, Vol 237, Issue 3

Abstract

This work presents the diathermic model of a porous bearing working with additional oil supply conditions. The equations of motion and energy in the oil gap and the porous bearing are supplemented with the equations of heat transfer and conductance in total region of bearing. The change of viscosity in the function of temperature was given in calculations. The resulting calculations are given in the form of spacing distributions of pressure and temperature in the oil gap and porous sleeve.
