THE DIRECTION AND DYNAMICS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SCIENCE AND TEACHING OF ECCLESIASTICAL LAW IN POLAND

Abstract
The article presents the condition of ecclesiastical law as a scientific and academic discipline. It describes the main areas of research undertaken by individual representatives of the doctrine during the last years, as well as the scope and character of ecclesiastical law classes taught at Polish universities and colleges. Moreover, the author characterizes the textbooks on ecclesiastical law available on the Polish market and depicts the currently observable phenomenon of the consolidation of ecclesiastical law lecturers in Poland.
