THE DOCTRINE OF LEGAL EQUALITY IN THE UKRAINIAN POLITICAL AND LEGAL THOUGHT AND ITS REFLECTION IN THE CONSTITUTION OF UKRAINE

Abstract
Article investigates the genesis of ideas of social equality and legal documents, statements, writings, political and legal thought Ukrainian thinkers, as a precondition for development of democratic principles in Ukrainian society and further reflection as the principle of equality in the current Fundamental Law of Ukraine. Analyzes the draft constitutional acts thinkers of different ages and their vision of understanding of the principle of equality. It is noted that Ukrainian thinkers thoroughly advocated in his writings the need for establishing, strengthening and guaranteeing equality as a fundamental principle of the functioning of a democratic state and civil society.
