THE DOMINANT THEORIES OF TRANSLATION AND THEIR IMPLEMENTATION IN TRANSLATORS TRAINING

Abstract
The analysis of the prevailing in the modern translation theories of translation is carried out. It is revealed that the translators training in Ukraine is based on a linguistic approach to translation. This causes certain drawbacks in its current state, as the market of translation services puts forward new requirements for the translators training. The use of some elements of communicative and functionalist approaches in the process of future translators training is suggested.
