THE ECONOMIC ESSENCE OF THE CONCEPT OF «BANKRUPTCY»: CAUSES, AND CONSEQUENCES FOR THE ENTERPRISE

Abstract
The article studies the problem of multiple definitions of the term “bankruptcy”. The author’s interpretation of the concept of “bankruptcy” is proposed. Identified the main reasons for its occurrence, the consequences for individual companies. Considered development stages of the crisis and ways of levelling the negative impact of the phenomenon of bankruptcy on the activities of economic entities.
