The effect of necessity and opportunity driven entrepreneurship on business growth

Abstract
This paper investigates the effect of necessity and opportunity driven entrepreneurship on business growth and business growth expectation in 53 countries corresponding to three contrasting economies (factor, efficiency and innovation-driven economies). The results have shown the relationship between necessity- driven entrepreneurship and both business growth and business growth expectations are negative while the relationship between opportunity-driven entrepreneurship and both business growth and business growth expectation are positive.
