The Impact of Demographic, Social and Motivational Circumstances of Fans of Ahvaz Teams in the Premier League on Their Attendance in Stadiums

Abstract
Nowadays, fans are one of the most important assets of any team and club that have many benefits for them. Thus, paying attention to their motivations for attending the stadium is very important. The aim of this study was to identify factors affecting demographic, social and motivational circumstances Ahvaz team fans in the premier league on their attendance in stadiums. This is a descriptive survey using field study method. The statistical population included fans of Foolad- Khoozestan and Esteghlal-Khoozestan teams (N=7000). The statistical sample was selected due the volume of the population and it was consisted of 367 members which was determined through the Morgan-Kerjsitables (n=364). The tools for collecting data were a modified version of Lee et al questionnaire (2011) with a confirmed validity and reliability. Results of the one sample t-test indicated that all motivational, demographic and social factors affected the attendance of fans in stadiums. Due to the results of the study, it is proposed that state officials and executive managers of teams prepare the field for the attendance of fans in stadiums.
