The Effect of New Technologies on Children and Elementary School Students

Abstract
According to media professionals and psychologist, media has many negative and positive effects on the health and the growth of children. Certainly, media has many benefits and people enjoy using it during their lifetime. However, experts believe that it, like any good invention, has some undesirable effects on children’s health. In this article, the attempt is to investigate the effects of new technologies like Internet, computer games, and tablet, on children and elementary school students. The method used in this study is qualitative and descriptive. The attempt is to discuss the effects of new technologies on children’s behavior by investigating some positive and negative aspects of those factors that are developed on the basis of a phenomena called new technologies.
