The effect of self- controlling skills and problem solving in changing boys attitude of third grade of high school toward addiction to narcotic

Abstract

The present research deals with the effect of self- controlling skills and problem solving in changing boys attitude of third grade of high school toward addiction to narcotic.This research is an example combined with pre-test and post – tests and group control. Among 866 boys students 16-17 of high school in educational year 91-92 who are studying in third grade of high school in Teleshprovince 3 high schools were chosen by random sampling method and the sample with capacity of 150 individuals selected and attitude questionnaire of addiction were held and the test group learned the self – control skills and problem solving in 7 sessions which took 2 hours per each. And control group received no interferes. And among those who acquired more scores 40 individual were chosen by chance and put in to two test- and control group. Theparticipant of both group reassessed and the result of co-variance analysis showed that teaching self-control skills and problem solving is effective on changing students’ attitude toward addiction to narcotics.
