Journal Title: Біоресурси і природокористування [Biological Resources and Nature Management] - Year 2019, Vol 11, Issue 1
Abstract
The aim of the research was to determine the effect of temperature on the growth and development of Phomopsis helianthi Munt Cv et al. The research was conducted on pure cultures of Phomopsis helianthi M. in vitro. It was established that under the action of temperatures 0° and +35 °С pathogen growth did not occur. The slow growth of fungal culture in vitro began at temperatures of +5 °C and +10 °C. More intense growth of mycelium was noted in temperature regimes of + 15 °C and + 20 °C. It has been shown that the optimal temperature for growth of Diaporthe (Phomopsis) helianthi isolates is + 25 °C. With increasing temperature to + 30 °С, the intensity of growth of mycelium of the fungus decreased.
