The Effects of Proline and Humic acid on Quantitative Properties of Kiwifruit

Journal Title: International Research Journal of Applied and Basic Sciences - Year 2013, Vol 6, Issue 8

Abstract

The effects of foliar application of humic acid and proline on quantitative properties of kiwifruit grown at a vineyard were examined. dissolved proline and liquid humic acid were sprayed on the leaves of vines three times, before anthesis, after fruit set and fruit developing stage. The application doses of proline and humic acid were 0, 0.1% and 0.2%. Each application consists of four replications. The field experiment was conducted in complete randomized factorial design in Chalous. the statistical datas and the mentioned diagrams of comparative means showed that acid humic and proline increased the yield, fruit length, diameter, width and weight. Also the most amounts of yield and fruit weight by humic acid 0.2%, and fruit width, length and diameter of kiwifruit by the application of humic acid 0.1% were obtained.
