THE EFFICIENCY OF SOME METHODS OF MYOPIA CORRECTION IN ITS CONTROL PROGRESSION

Abstract
In the literature review, data on the methods of myopia correction, which in different degrees are able to slow its progression, are analyzed. These include correc-tion of myopia with orthokeratological lenses, multifocal contact lenses and correc-tion with glasses with progressive lenses. For each of the correction methods, the data of clinical studies, meta-analyzes, confirming their effectiveness in monitoring the myopia progression are analyzed. Orthokeratological lenses and multifocal contact lenses contribute to a greater extent for slowing the myopia progression.
