THE ENTRY OF ARGENTINA INTO THE TRANS-PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP (TPP): NEW CHALLENGES

Abstract
The article presents the results of the analysis of Argentina’s possible adhesion to the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP). The authors reveal the main objectives, structure and history of the creation of the TPP, consider the prospects of expansion of the number of members of the agreement. The greatest attention is paid to the generalization of positive and negative effects of Argentina joining the TPP: the authors extract the advantages of this decision for the development of the Latin American region and analyze its negative influence on the country’s economy.
