The essence of entrepreneurship in conditions of the knowledge economy

Abstract
The article analyzes the scientific approaches to the definition of the essence of entrepreneurship in the knowledge economy. It is noted that today the transformation of views from purely classical to modern, based on the categories of informatization, networking, institutionalization. The thesis is based on the dominance of the informational and knowledgeable nature of modern entrepreneurship over a purely economic one. The modern features of entrepreneurship are defined, and they reveal the evolution of this scientific category in conditions of knowledge economy more fully. The perspective areas for further research are the development of measures to improve the effectiveness of the institutional structure of the knowledge economy.
