THE ESTIMATION OF MOTOR AND PSYCHICAL ABILITIES' LEVEL OF HANDICAPPED COMPETITORS IN THE ALPINE SKIING

Abstract

Background. In our country problems of sport for handicapped are treated stepmotherly in comparison to healthy part of the society. Very weak or often total lack of training process monitoring is the consequence of this, even on national team's level in a given discipline. In this study on example of alpine skiing, authors try to show the need of such actions, which measurable advantages in consequence will give positive effects in sport results, how they will allow us to reach European Union standards, where sport for handicapped occupies stately position.Material and methods. Five men from national handicapped team were taken under investigation. Their level of psychical abilities was qualified.. There were: personality – the Questionnaire of Personality Eysencka, the fear – the Inventory of State and the Feature of Fear Spielbergera as well as the motor adaptation and nervous – motive co-ordination.Results. Handicapped skiers are on totality assertive as well as wewnątrzsterowność and equilibrium show insufficient emotional. They characterize however the good co-ordination nervously – muscular and considerable the reserves in matters of science and optimization of folded tasks. It the level of ability predisposition shows on ability to executing by studied the long-lasting work, permitting on gradual enlarging the training tasks.Conclusions. Handicapped skiers are usually assertive. They demonstrate insufficient inner steerability and emotional balance. They are characterized good nervous – muscular coordination and notable resists in the scientific matters and optimization in the given questions
