THE EVALUATIONS ON SOCIAL ASPECT OF RELIGION AND ITS EDUCATION

Abstract
Religion is one of the prominent facts of social life. In daily life, intensively presence of situations and events related to religion has been indicated that the religion is a social phenomenon. The relation between religion and human being has always been exist from early historical times to present and religious education as a transmission of religious principles from generations to others is also an ancient event like the relation between religion-human being. In this paper, social aspect and functions of religion, the situation of formal religious educational activities in schools in connection with social development of student will be discussed and positive contributions of religious education lessons in schools to the socialization of student and appreciating of the society will bring up.
