The family of Sachses: father — a doctor, son — an artist

Abstract
The way of life and professional activity of the brightest representatives of the Sachses family of German background have been represented. Doctor Eduard Sachs worked as an inspector in the medical board of Katerynoslav and Tobolsk. His son Mykola Sachs — a landscape painter, worked as an assistant secretary in Society of Russian Artists in Paris in 1881. The destiny of those Germans is connected with Ukrainian land, particularly with Katerynoslav (at present — the city of Dnipro).
