THE FEASIBILITY OF USING CASE METHOD AT WORKSHOPS OF AGRONOMIC SCIENCES

Abstract
Introduction. The transition to interactive teaching methods determines the increasing role of multimedia that allows developing of students’ analytical, diagnostic, conceptual and creative skills. Methods. The study focuses on the case study method as an interesting and progressive method of practical training. Results. Some special aspects of usage of the case study method in agronomy teaching are analyzed. The nature, main tasks and functionality of this method in the classroom are studied. From the conducted analysis of scientific studies were identified the main advantages and disadvantages of the case study method in teaching practice. Discussion. Methodological recommendations for usage of the case study method in teaching agronomy were developed.
