Na 10 i 11 noemvri 1998 godina, vo organizacija na Defektolo{kiot fakultet vo Belgrad se odr`a I Nau~no-stru~en Kongres na defektolozi na SR Jugoslavija, so me|unarodno u~estvo. Na ovoj kongres, na koj rabotata se odviva{e po sekcii, bea prezen-tirani okulu 160 trudovi. Na istiot u~estvuvaa nastavnici i asistenti od Institutot za defektologija pri Filozofskiot fakultet vo Skopje.
