THE FORMATION OF INTERNET JOURNALISM IN UKRAINE: THE SPECIFICITY, CONDITIONS AND DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article attempts to analyze the historical development of modern Internet journalism in Ukraine. The conditions of formation and specificity of the development of Internet journalism in Ukraine for the period of 1990 till 2010 have been investigated. A number of sites have been analyzed from the standpoint of its chronology, and somewhat systematized the views of modern scholars on the process of the birth of domestic network journalism as a leading form of communication. The existence of network media with their distribution into types is highlighted, namely: printed, television and radio with a definition of their specifics. We characterized the specifics of the network of modern media, and highlighted the most popular contemporary online media.
