TRANSFORMATIONS AS THE MAIN METHOD OF IT-TEXTS TRANSLATION

Abstract
The authors of the article analyze peculiarities of the translation in the IT-sphere. When comparing the source text and the target text, the authors investigate the use of translation transformations and clarify their functions on the linguistic, stylistic and communicative levels. The emphasis is made on such transformations as vocabulary addition, language units rearrangement, meaning specification, and vocabulary or verb voice replacement. Consequently, the authors establish the correlation between the transformations implementation and the preservation of the original communicative function in the target version of the IT-text. Besides, the authors consider the impact of transformations on the scientific style achievement, and introduce the idea of the impact of IT-translation on the formation of the computer-industry language.
