THE SYMBOL “TULIP” IN POETRY “DIVAN”: SACRAMENTALAND GENERATIONALASPECT

Abstract

The study of the symbols and the meaning of plant ornaments, namely, the symbol “tulip” in the Crimeantatar literature and culture of the end of the XVI – XVIII centuries is considered to be one the most urgent subject of Turkish literary criticism. Because it combines two literary traditions: folk and religious. Investigating this issue, should refer to the literary of Ancient Iran, Turkey and the Crimean Khanate. After comparing the symbol “tulip” indifferent cultures of the East, we can trace how each individual poet gave him his sacred content. At the same time, the general norms of writing some form of poetry were not violated.
