The formation of modern information and communication superpowers in the world: peculiarities of the development of macromodels and lessons for Ukraine

Abstract
The article describes the features of the development of the Indian, Brazilian, Russian, European, American and Chinese models of the formation of the information society and the formation of the IT industry. In particular, the characteristic analysis of models made by such criteria as the features of the ICT business transaction in the country, features of the development of innovation infrastructure, level of start-ups in ICT sector, the level, scope and nature of state support for the development of the sector of information technology, level of the development of Internet technologies. Socio-political preconditions and socio-ideological conditions for the deployment of computerization processes in the aforementioned macroeconomic models are revealed. The concept of "information and communication superpower" was introduced into the scientific circle and its contents and meaning was substantiated.
