THE FUNCTIONAL AND SEMANTIC MODEL OF THE SENTENCE: THE EXTENDER INTENTIONS

Abstract
The article continues the series of publications dedicated to the research of the extenders’ functional typology in the sentence structure in modern Ukrainian. The emphasis is laid on the identification of the semantic pattern of the sentence that is interpreted quite ambiguously in different linguistic circles. Functional and semantic vision gives the opportunity to analyze the semantic dualism and functions in the nucleus of extending components first of all positioning in the sentence and obtaining in its basis the newest polyfunctional and polysemantic variants. On the basis of actual material the extending intentions of the examined components of the sentence are represented and analyzed.
